Minister Tony Gee Event Intro

Tony Green, son of Willie H. and Ann C. Green was born in Durham,North Carolina. After graduating from the Durham City Public School System, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Radio and Television from Western Carolina University.

In 1990, one year after graduation, Tony pursued a Masters of Theology at Shaw University Divinity School but was pulled away a year later by a call to be an Urban Morning Show Host at WQMG FM in Greensboro, NC. While inGreensboro, he met his wife, Alicia K. Green, then, a student at North Carolina A&T State University.

Tony’s radio career spans over 30 years with stops at country station WRGC AM/Urban Stations: WQOK FM/WQMG FM/WWDM FM/WLXC FM/WWWZ FM and now 13 years at Gospel Station: WFMV-FM where he serves as Program Director, and Vice President of Programming for WFMV’s parent company Glory Communications, Inc.

In 2003, Tony created the radio program “Another Level.” A show programmed specifically for young adults with the motto: “We’re giving the youth the truth!” now airing on stations throughout South Carolina. In 2005 Tony recommitted to the call from God to reach young people by teaching and preaching the Gospel in a way that let’s them know that their dreams can come true. He was licensed with the Bibleway Church of Atlas Road in Columbia,SC in January 2009.

In October 2005, God blessed Tony and his wife with their first child, a son, Alan Michael Green.
